Hello loves! So last week I was in London and obviously Covent Garden was one of my first stops. I just love it there, there’s honestly something for everyone and it’s the best place to people watch. Between the boutiques and coffee shops there are some gorgeous make up outlets in Covent Garden, so naturally there I went, and stayed pretty much the whole morning. I managed picked up a few amazing and long awaited products whilst there so thought I’d share them with you today…
First on the list was Charlotte Tilbury. Surprisingly I’ve actually not owned products from Charlotte before now, and I really can’t think why because the packaging and quality of her products are outstanding and every time I tried any of my friends products from her I loved them so I definitely had a dumb minute not buying from her previously.
Anyway, as it was my birthday a few months ago my gorgeous sister bought me the Very Victoria lipstick as a belated present and I’ve worn it every day since! I’ve had so many compliments on the colour and although it doesn’t last all day long, I don’t mind reapplying as I have an excuse to whip out the stunning rose gold packaging!
Next up is Kiko, I’ve been a massive fan of Kiko’s products for a long time now well since they opened up a store in Leeds near me a couple of years ago actually. For probably the best part of a year I’ve been waiting for the highly sought after Water Eyeshadow in 208 but Leeds literally NEVER had any in stock boo so when I walked in at Covent Garden, the golden square of luminosity caught my eye instantly. I walked round the store raving to my sister how much of a big deal this product was and sure enough a few days ago she text me saying she had major fomo for the product and had gone back and bought her own! Don’t blame her either, it’s a beautiful product and gives that stunning wet look highlight.
I also picked up a couple of new eye pencils in the sale. I grabbed shades 805 & 812, the first is a really vibrant purple and 812 a glittery green shade. Both super pigmented and really long lasting in the waterline. Last product from Kiko is this cream eyeshadow pen. It’s a really pretty subtle pink with a hint of glitter, looks super nice at the inner corner of the eye.

Next up we have Mina, which inside the store looks a lot like Kiko and has the same price point too. I hadn’t heard of this brand before then but I’m so glad we found it because I am in love with the products. The girls that worked there were so so sweet and let me try on literally every product they sold, even lent me some brushes and just sat and chatted with us whilst I pretty much redid all my make up in their store haha!
I bought the lengthening mascara (so good), this burnt orange shade eyeshadow (super pigmented) that was only £4.80 for this giant pan which is amazing and finally and probably my favourite purchase of all, this truly stunning glittery pink toned cream eyeshadow that I have honestly loved incorporating into my everyday make up. It has slight flecks of sliver glitter that really stand out on the lid and best thing is it doesn’t crease on the eye after a few hours… I’ve already ordered more colours.

Finally I have a couple of small purchases from Primark’s beauty range I picked up when I was home from London. First I got another of the Lip liner’s in Toffee, which I have been using for the best part of a year now, it’s actually really pigmented and smooth to apply. Same with their kohl eyeliners, I have a black one which is great (does smudge easily though) so decided to try out this really light cream colour in Wide Awake, just to brighten up my waterline and it works really well. For £1 each you can’t fault it.
Right final product because I’ve actually rambled on for way too long now but I just had to mention this product! The Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer, and it’s is soo good! It’s amazing coverage and lasts all day if set properly.
Okay so that is everything beauty related that I’ve bought this past week, I’m in love with every single product and for once I actually don’t regret buying any of them! I highly recommend Covent Garden for shopping if you’re in London, it’s such a stunning place with so much to offer. Make sure you check out Mina too, I’ve been actually blown away by the quality of products so you won’t regret it! Hope you guys enjoyed this post and maybe found something new to try! Thanks for the read,
